I have 4 more, Burt, indor/outdoor no claws b/a$$ tom, 18 years old, Skuzzy bucket, ferral female, mean to all but me, dustybumpers, and casper. I have an actual house built for the cats, They are actually indoors.
Ah, so that's where your screen name came from...I just have the dog, a 7 year old Collie. He's my buddy! Weighs about 100 pounds, and thinks he's a lapdog!
we have 9 all together, Reeses is the only one nobody can touch yet, she was 8 months old with a kitten, Emmy who was outdoors before we brought her in. The rest are all shelter kitties....
yeah, he was 5 weeks old when we got him. bottle feed for 3 more weeks. he used to go under the couch to hide, and came out all dusty. He also at 5 weeks had the biggest set of rear bumpers I ever saw. at 6 mths, he became Dusty with NO bumpers. hahahahahaha
We did have one cat. Found him out at the MIL's farm. Nice cat, had to have been a house pet. Anyway, the kids begged us, and we brought him home. He was pretty young, and actually, him and the dog got along pretty well. But, his urine smelled HORRIBLE. Stunk up the whole house. I was thinking that he probably had a bladder infection maybe, but the wife just said "he's out" so back to the farm (Oh, that's right, his name was Charlie!) Charlie went. He was there, until he got hit on the highway. I think we should have taken him to the vet, but the wife just wanted to take him back. Too bad. I'm not wild about cats, but I was getting attached to him, and I think my collie was also.

mine are all either shelter, or drop offs, for some reason people think my driveway is the pound.
Saphire was next door to a house I rehabed up in the city. the kids were kickinh him around like a foot ball, and throwing rocks at him, so I took him. next day the mother ask me if I had seen her $900 cat. I said nope. he was about 2 mths then, I've had him for 7 years

yeah, sometimes barn cats aren't real good pets. like I say about Skuzzy bucket, she's nasty to everyone but me, and usually that visit comes with a "tude"
The wife is thinking she wants a little dog, for herself. I can't remember the name of the little one she wants. We'll see. I told her she's going to have to take care of it, feed it, poop patrol the yard, take it to the vet, etc. I have a feeling I'll end up doing all that, and then I'll have two dogs!
