i saw a 2011 lariat limited 4x4 6.2 today, my god what i would give for this truck!! its flat out beautiful! pearl white with color matched 22s..its so dreamy!
I can understand your reasoning, however, how does one get the KR leather in the Raptor?
Everyone's got their own priorities when buying, and comfort is far below capability on my list. I'd prefer 12 inches of suspension travel and a computer programmed for handling rough terrain at high speeds over a comfy rear end. (Though I couldn't justify buying a Raptor myself so I settled for the offroad package.)
Different trucks for different purposes. I just have to scratch my head when I see a Platinum F150 that costs as much as a Raptor plus a bunch of aftermarket goodies.
Is it Pearl, or Oxford White? Mine's Oxford, but it's not a Platinum.
Winters or not...it won't be long before these painted bumpers will be afflicted with paint chips.
The color is officially White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat...the only color available in the Lariat Limited. Ford decided...in their infinite wisdom...that each dealer should have at least one of them. They shipped a lot of dealers in cold weathr states 2 wheel drives!!!
It's a beautiful color when all shined up and viewed in the sunshine!!!

Now you and I are on the same page. I agree that we all have our own priorities and those priorities change as we change. There was a time when I bought the very basic truck(no carpet, no air) to haul what I needed to haul. Now I can afford a KR and that is what I drive. I suspect things will change for you as well. Good luck.
While I will admit that is a beautiful truck, I will never understand the reasoning for buying a King Ranch, Harley, Platinum, etc F150.
You can get a Raptor for less and jump the thing!
The negative on the Raptor is the fact they don't offer a/x/z plan, or incentives. Sticker price between the limited and the raptor may be similar, but once you take off the thousands in a/x/z plan pricing, and incentives, it's really not close.
If these were offered, the raptor would be in my driveway instead of an Fx4.
Guess you ended up getting your truck! Haha I'm bored and found this old thread. Is this actually the f150 you own now? I remember you saying it was your boss' truck or something.
