alright...your going to need an axle first off....dana 44's out of 70's f-150's work well. then your going to need to decide on how your going to mount it...5 link, four link, radius arms, leaf springs....probably the eaisiest is to use radius arms. Then you'll need to get a set of radius arm mounts to mount them too the frame. A track bar and steering must be fabbed up and you'll need to deal with brakes too. This is a pretty good start.

solid axle swap
i have a dana 44 out of a 78 f-150 with the gears to match the 4.10 in my rear axle. it also has a true-trac in it. i have the radius arm mounts that came off of the truck that the axle came out of, as well as all of the steering components from said truck. what else do i need?

You will need to figure out a trac-arm bracket the one off the bronco wont work. If your adding a lift did you get the coils off the 78 or do you have 80-96 lift coils? For the 80-96 coils you will ned to fab up a pad for the axle for the different style coil.
