460 F-100 install (headers)
I am installing a 460 w/ C6 into my 1980 F-100. I have the transmission mounted, and am building custom motor mounts. The only problem I have encountered is lack of space for a set of headers. Has anyone tried this? or does anyone know a header manufacturer familiar with this swap? Any info would be appreciated.

Ford Powertrain Applications also has some different <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/">460 </a>shorty headers that may work, just in case........

I put a <a href="http://www.motorhaven.com/">460 </a>in my 81 F100. I got motor mounts off a late 80's F350 at the junkyard. I used Heddman headers, they fit with no problem but they were just touching the frame on the passenger side so i trimmed a slither off the frame with a dremel.
