Got a letter from the county yesterday, my permit expires 6/1/11 if I don't get an inspection.. Well I guess I'll tape the ceiling next week instead of pulling my front clip.
I feel for you having to tape. Root Canal or Drywall work HHHHMMMM????
Around here we have to get a building permit, and on it, describe what is to be done. It lasts 1 year, then it expires. Doing the drywall would take more than a year if I had to do it, if it is to be done right, lol.
A gal at work was bragging on how she rocked her garage by herself; she is 5'-0" and weighs maybe 90 lbs. I couldn't believe she could do it, until I saw it: she cut the 4x8's into 2x2 pieces! Talk about a tape job!
Zack,if you'll pick myself,Havi, and perhaps a few other FTE members up in your helicopter,we could have a combination tech day/interior decorating themed barbecue.Maybe even borrow your wife's Tupperware for parts cleaning/storage?LOL
With the lack of new construction on your side of the hills, I'd guess there's plenty of decent drywallers that would love to have an afternoon cash job right now, and would do it pretty cheap. They could have it knocked out in a couple of hours. Might be worth making a couple phone calls.
