Hella Black Magic Lights
Just looking for some opinions on Hella 500 "BlackMagic" lights. I am looking at putting them behind the grille and like the idea of them being black when off. How is the light output? Thx

Thanks, thats actually exactly the Thread that gave me the idea. Reason for looking at black magic version of those lights is so they blend a bit better when off. I am wondering if it makes a diff for light out put with the black one?

The big difference between the Lightforce and the Hellas IMO is the difference in light pattern and maybe some distance and stuff. They should be fairly comparable otherwise.
The Lightforce have an adjustable pattern, but if you're not looking for that you'll be fine.
The Lightforce are almost indestructible but if you're mounting them behind the grille they'll be just fine.
The Hellas look BA while off and throw out a pretty solid pattern.
