Gents,
I loadedup the pickup and I am heading north. Should be in the Black Hills of South Dakota for a few days.
I just poured 4 gallons of filtered vegatable oil intot he tank. Hopefully, it quites the beast down...and doesn't clog filters or have any other adverse effects. I ran waste motor oil and trans fluid in my old IDI but don't dare do anything like that with this high dollar engine!!! Might run waste motor oil an additive at a max of 1 gallon per tank or less....

If anyone cares...
I ran up to ND and back to KS through the Black Hills without an issue. Did see low fuel numbers with the vegie oil! Ended the trip with over 18mpg on the last tank...drove it 55mph for almost the whole tank on the highway...not interstate.
