I have a 99 f150 4x4 4.2 5spd reg cab 128k. clutch pedal stoped working when I got off the interstate today. Its an all original truck I decide to just go ahead and replace everything since it will go out sooner or later. I plan to replace master cy slave cy. I know one of these 2 caused my problem today, clutch has 128k so its not slipping but plan to replace it since i have to drop trans anyway. I bought truck with 2nd gear syncro go out so i will have to replace it to these parts are about 600 total. I am very good fixing things but have never work on a 99 model or put in a sycro before. so any advice or tips on bleeding system or on anything else? Thanks Btw I drove it 60 miles home no clutch got my rpms right and shifted no grinding.
