Thank you, but i already have this saved...i need to know the process to get to that final product..also the hooking up part as well, now that would be awsome seeing im going to start installing my e-z wire kit 2morow(yeah right e-z i hope LOL)..so i wanted to get my gauge all set up prior so it would be ready to pop in..ive read only bits and pieces of julies set up.. but the major details with pictures explaning the process i couldnt find, so i was hoping someone had the or could get a hold of them.Thank you
That link I posted had some pics, but maybe not what you were looking for? Here's a couple electrical diagrams of the instrument cluster. One is labeled stock. It's about all I've got. Searching through the FTE threads might get what you're looking for already. I assume you already started doing this if you got the thread I posted.
Again i am really grateful for your responses cuz this is driving me crazy..and yes i have been looking through the threads that is why i wanted to do this conversion, but i need a little bit more info especially on how to switch the gauges and faces..
If I remember right, a sunpro mechanical gauge is used with the original face glued on it. The gallery julies cool f1 has is no longer available, unless someone else saved it. All I have are the drawings without explanations.
Havi that second link is one that i havent seen so thanx a bunch! now i know how to do the voltage conversion! now all i need to know is how to place the new gauges into the old ones..
I posted those in #19. All of the other drawings are for ignition switches, buses, power distribution, etc... I believe the E-Z wiring will have its own instructions for all of that. At least the Ron Francis kit did, which made it pretty easy to install.... provided you have 12v neg ground.
Havi, thank you and to everyone else tha t has helped me i think i have enough info to get me started in the right direction.Hope fully i'll be able to figure out how to get back on this site 2morow! Take care and have a good night.
Don welcome to FTE, GOOD SITE have you figured out how to use the site? Its really pretty easy. It Just takes time to get all the ins and outs, Glad your here. (JIMMY)
Hey Don I followed Juiles how-to step by step but it came out wrong,I guess i made the cut in the wrong side of the old housing.
I will post a pic of the cuts you need to make.
When I looked at the housing It didnt look like it matter what side of it I cut but I guess it does.
