question: largest tire
hey guys. i need to know if i can run 35's on my stock 89 f-250 4x4. it dosent get wheeled at the moment, im having issues getting my hands on 33's. and cant afford to lift quite yet. i am willing to trim the bottoms of my fenders and bumper, and while the truck spends most of its time on the road, road tires just dont get the traction i need on my jobsites.i have searched the site for a while and came up empty. so does any one know if i can run 35's or what i need to do to run them.

I put 285/75/16's on a couple of my 250's and they fit. Didn't have a lot of extra room, especially when turning, managed to scrape them a couple times when turning and hitting a speed bump or large rut. I think 285's are a 33" tire.

285/75r16s are a 33" tire. That is what I'm running on my rig. The way to read a metric tire measurement such as this is - 285 milimeters wide, 75% of 285 milimeters is your sidewall height, with a 16 inch rim.
