i have a 92 f350 xlt the brake light and abs light have come on and stay on previously my pedal went to the floor so i changed out the brakes,installed a new master,bled several times,and verified no wheel cylinders are leaking.before i bled the brakes the last time those lights had not come on i just didnt have brakes.now i still have no brakes and the lights are on
p.s. this truck is diesel so i also checked the vacum pump and it seemed to be working

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 19-Dec-02 AT 04:41 PM (EST)]I read somewhere, I think in my Haynes manual, that there is a special brake bleeding tool needed to do a complete bleed on certain systems. Sorry, I don't have it at hand, but maybe you should check it out somewhere.

Make sure you bleed the abs pressure valve on the left frame rail. It's nearly directly below the brake master cylinder. And you said the brake lights were staying on? Check that switch, because if that is faulty, it will cause the brake lights to come on. I think I saw a tsb on this, but I can't remember. Just some things you can try, hope they help.
