1997 explore 5.0 awd auto trans problem.

1997 explore 5.0 awd auto trans problem.
ok, second trans, with new torque converter in and i start it up, i got ten qts of fluid in till it wouldnt take more. and started the truck, its o jack stands, and i put it into rev and the wheels spin, drive,they spin,1 and 2 same story all is good. so i let it run for a few min and go to go through the gears and now the wheels dont move,
so i'm like wtf and i shut down the truck cause i dont wanna go through another trans. so i take the lines off the coolers(i flushed the lines) and i get a light red foamy fluid, but at least there is fluid. thats better than last time. the "o/d off" is blinking so now i'm gonna figure that out, any help would be great.
