Gross combination weight rating (GCWR)

Hello everyone, new guy here from South Australia!!
Having some trouble with the local authorities here because my F350 has no rating on the vin tag for the allowable total GCWR of the truck & any trailer i may be towing.
Is there any info from the factory brochures or manuals that contain this?

My truck is an 84 twin cab, dual rear wheel F350 6.9 diesel which was fully imported as these were not available here & so the authorities have no paperwork for them.

I'm in quite a bind & any help will be greatly appreciated,
thanks, George.

I am at work and can't go and look at my data sticker, but I think on US trucks, the GCWR is printed on the sticker on the driver's doorjamb near the latch post.

EDIT:

I think I am mistaken on this. I believe what is printed on that sticker is GVWR (max gross weight for a loaded truck), not GCWR (max gross weight for a loaded truck plus loaded attached trailer).

Blownshotgun,

I cannot answer your question [someone will be able to!], but I want to welcome you to the forum! My sister has lived in Australia for many years [1st in Mosmon, NSW and now in Port Macquarie (not certain of the spelling)].

For some reason 22,500 comes to mind. Thats with in bed hitch and 4.10 gears. Any more info auto or manual, rear gears? bumper or 5th wheel/gooseneck hitch?

Thanks for the replies & the welcome!!

The truck is 4 speed manual, 3.55 axle ratio & we will be towing a tag along trailer.

Thanks, George.
