recall door release

Have an 09 super cab with a safety recall re back door mechanism. Dealer said only if there is a problem. Opinions on that answer???

if u got a letter saying there is a recall on your truck they should change it. my 09 had one on a spring in the door, Could open in an acident. but i traded it in before i got it done.

If it is loose, they will fix it. If not, then your truck is not effected.

My letter said that they will fix any loose ones rigth away, and schedule all of the others early summer when the full supply of replacement parts is available. It never said that they would not fix it, only that the needed time to amass the parts required to do all of them.
