Hey evryone...
I got a little question here....
Whats the differences ...if there are any??... Betweem hoods on f1250's-f350's of different yrs.... In the late 70's anyways.
For example... I have a 1978 150 and i found a 77/78/79 f350 ranger xlt......not sure which yr.. with a hoodscoop. And well Im wondering if it would slip right on or not. It 'looks' like it would.. but thats what i think.. So id like some other opinions or facts.. Thanks evrybody.
Hoods will completely interchange from any '73-'79 Fseries, including F600s, regardless of trim level.
BTW would anyone be interested in a stock fiberglass hood for one of these? I live in rusty Florida and have a guy here who can make a mold to make them off a steel one.

My first unofficial car had a 2' hole in it.
I really wanted a Buick GS my friend was selling but it had no trunk and the floors were like the flintstone car.
People from Canada will hear you, I live in Niagara Falls Ontario. Salt Capital of the world.
I can do 4 wheel slides in my acura coming around the corner to my house its so bad.
Fiberglass hood? Sounds like a major weight and heat reduction for the summer.... how much do they run, after im finished with my truck it sounds like a sound investment... Has anyone ever done a weight reduction on these old trucks? I remember seeing a complete fiberglass front sides and box on a 70's show truck.
