Hey all.

Well, after a brief *** chewing by Don, I decided I should put a post in here. I've been so danged busy, that I haven't had much time to get in on the other sections of the forum. I've been dealing with a changed life, and a different wrk schedule, and another resto project. Life's been different since having my little "stress cardiomyopathy" thing back in October. When they stress can kill, they aint kidding. The scary part, was the going in to ventricular tachycardia in the back of the ambulance. NO FUN, I tell you. So, back to more important things. I do cruise the Oregon forum, often, I just don't post much, because I have little input for most of the threads. So, yeah, I landed a restoration job on a one family owner 1954 F-100. The guys Grandpa bough it new in '54. The current holder of the truck, brought it to me to have it completely restored to as close to concours perfect as possible. Basically, the seat material, and tires are going to be the only major noticable non-concours parts. I have a thread in the 48-60 section that has details of the build, and tons of photos in the photobucket link.

Ok Don, I get the picture......I'll go stand in the corner now, that's in the corner, not on the corner. I sometimes get wrapped up in what I am doing, and forget to touch bases with the rest of the world. It's nice to know I am missed though. Thanks for the compliment. This little pick-em-up truck is a stellar piece, with an intact, and verifiable history. It was in serious disrepair, and suffered extensive degredation, but it's really coming along now. The owner stopped by yesterday, and got to see it for the first time since dropping it off. He loves it, which is always a plus. I'll start a thread in the chapter, and post photos of the truck, and its progress.

We'd love to see a thread on the build here Joe! I know all about being spread thin......I've got several builds going on right now, plus I just bought a half finished home and a new shop!

We are having a GTG at Allens house in Prineville on May 28th. Think ya could make it?

Well, I'm typically just chillin. Moved across the street from where we were when you all came over. Built the Falcon, and sent it away, foolishly cut the strings on my '63 Sprint (verified Sprint, not clone). And am awaiting the right engine for my Big Job, that I always say I'll sell, but never actually do. And now, I'm restoing that little F-100.
