im up for whatever hahaha, being as how im not much of a southern boy or anything im kinda seen as a misfit in my town, BUT i do have a 4x4 truck and i love classics soo..haha..go with the yellow truck and dixie flags
Well seeing how danger-ranger93 is my number 1 man and he told me to throw in some ideas here it goes. Well we are doing this for the georgia so we need to incorporate the georgia flag and not this new BS flag I'm talking the real deal georgia flag with the state seal and stars and bars flag. (The REAL Georgia Flag) also I this if you are a real patriot (like the so called leader of the USA or not) we need to also have the US flag. I also say we incorporate a truck in front of the flags but keeping them visible. The truck should be a bright color such as orange, yellow, or red. You want people to notice this great sticker and great website.
I almost started to use a real Georgia flag crossed with the American flag. I just did It like this to show the different options. I tried a red and orange truck and it was Just to red that's why I went with yellow. I thought about using a riveted steel or diamond plate background instead of the brushed aluminum look. Any opinions on text color? What shape is preferred for the sticker rectangular or circle?
I think the background should be round with the shape of Georgia incorporated somehow.
The yellow truck dose offer a good contrast in my opinion,
And i think the flag shoud be flying over the truck and the chapter info shoul be on it like your first rendition
Well on my dd all mine are square and kinda pushed to the side, I would like to see it round and a little on the larger side, so I can throw it right in the middle!!
I'd like to see the diamond plate back ground, I think the text is fine.
I think sayer is right on track, I know his dad would probably be in for the same kind of design (looks like it would be a Ford version of the NRA sticker)
I know I'd throw a pretty big one up on my 78 since it'll be in shows and being shown off, and the one for my DD I'd want it to be not quite as big but still big enough for people to notice from a distance.
The circle design is no problem but I browsed a few of the other chapter's forums and I saw where designs were turned down due to the oval shape being too much like an official Ford design and for using simialr fonts to the Ford script. As for the size these are just general renditions and the size will be controlled by the actual decal manufacturer.
Also another thought, it would be really nice in my opinion if we could use a Georgia Chapter member's truck as the truck to be placed in the center. I think it would be cool if we could incorporate multiple generation trucks on the decal.
I think it would look great if we had a 53-56, 57-66, 67-72, 73-79, 80-86, 87-96, 97-03 and so on all side by side on the decal. I will try and render and example before the night is over.
Pop, you are defiantly a master compared to my failed attempts..
I was just trying to change the color on mine and that's a no go.. I really appreciate all you've done.
I think there may be a interest out there if we could show we don't specialize in one particular generation..
I know I like the 59-up trucks.. Well up to the 97-03 body style, after that they get a lil to futuristic for my taste.

I am far from a master but I enjoy doing it. I am glad I can give back to the forums since many have helped me with needed in formation before. If you email me a photo of your truck along with tell me what colors you want I will give changing the color of your truck a shot.
