Engine timing.
just a quick one. ive browsed a thread before where someone with a 300 was looking for more horsepower. one suggestion was that he advance the timing of his engine 2.5-3 degrees. i was just wondering what fiddling around with the timing of the engine has to do with horsepower. i know that advancing the spark is better if the engine runs at high rpm's but id like to know a little more. any help is appriciated. thanks.

if you advance the timiming you wont notice an real big ganes if you where running propane then you should advance the timiming big time, if your looking for power for your 6cly contact cliffords they got everything for the 6cly.
