Hi, had posted in a different area... got a strange problem. Even though only about 50 degrees last night the truck overheated.. well wait.. said it did. i had noticed the last couple mornings when i go out to start her up she starts harder than normal, but then idles rough a few, then fine. my temp gauge is already at normal level when i start the truck though... didnt think too much of it until last night when driving home and the needle kept climbing, then went to high, and i got the oil temp idiot light. was home. let it sit.. felt hoses all seemed fine, no leaks, no smoke. left her outside, 40 last night here in wisconsin, got it to start for my 4 mile ride to work, and the gauge was already again at normal level, and by the time i got to work had started to climb. i did have the coolant crossover pipe start leaking about 4 months ago, had it fixed, new intake manifold gasket, new plugs, one new cap...drained antifreeze, ran fine all rest of winter... thermostat? water pump? coolant temp sensor? help?
