torque converter question
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how the torque converter lock up is supposed to work, or how theirs works, on the 2002-2005 4.6 v8. Mine has the camper tow package so I'm not sure if that would make a difference. My torque convertor used to unlock every time i let off the gas, no matter what speed. I've noticed now that some days it does this, other days if I let off the gas it stays locked until i go below 40-45 mph. I've just started driving on the highway more so maybe that's the transmissions adaptive learning, but it also seems like it's wet and rainy out on the days it stays locked up. I can't tell if something is wrong or if it's functioning normal. I'm kinda wondering if the wet and rainy is affecting the tps readings and it thinks i'm still on the pedal a little bit and keeps it locked, but it's shifting the same. Only difference is the lock and unlock behavior. Thanks in advance
