oil pressure
how long will an engine last with minimal oil pressure with the engine warm and idleing mechanical gauge reads 0 at highway speeds around 2-2500 rpm i have 15 psi. when the engine is cold it reads 45psi at idle. is there anything i can do about this cuz i dont have the time or the money to rebuild it right now i want it to last till summer at least

What engine is it? How many miles? Sound's like yo just need to pull it out of the truck, replace the bearings in the bottom end and the oil pump and put it back in. If it doesn't run bad then that will last you another 50k miles or so.

take a saturday and do, get a buddy to help should only take a day if you start early. It'll cost about 120 bucks total. We did this in my dads van. If you wanna get real brave you can do it while the motor is in the truck, but it's really hard to the oil pan gasket in the right places.
