I'm restoring a '66 F100 and am looking to find a new dash pad. I looked at LMC and they want $800 for a new one. Does anybody have a resource for a dash pad that may be a bit cheaper? Thanks folks.
C5TZ-8104290-B .. Dash Pad / Listed in DC's (Dennis Carpenter) 2009 edition of his 1957/66 truck repro parts catalog on page 81 for $500.00.
justdashes.com (located in Van Nuys CA) specializes in restoring padded dashes, but the price will be prolly be about what you can buy a repop from DC for.
Does anyone make one of those vacuum formed "caps" for the original? They are really reasonable for the ones that I have seen. I am not sure, but I thought I saw one for the 67-72???

Actually Just Dashes is the supplier for Dennis Carpenter. Price should be about the same but depending on which coast you live closest to shipping could be different, DC is on the the east coast and JD is on the west coast.
There's a great thread on removing it and cleaning up the metal dash under it. Its what im going to do, save some cash and check it out.
Here's the link if you think you might be intrested in doing this. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...d-removal.html
