I really like the look of the bigger rims on the truck.
These are the ones I want to go look at. He says the tires are in great shape, but who knows till I get there tomorrow. I think if I could get the set for say 800, then ill run the tires down to nothing. Then after I put my leveling kit in, I would buy some 35s and slap em on here.
any advice folks?
BTW guys thanks for all the responses, I am gonna go look at them, he has them on my exact truck, but its an 03, so I will be able to tell a lot just by looking at them on his truck.
Ive been looking for these wheels for a while, Ive done a bunch of research and found that alot of guys have them on their trucks, and most say they don't rub.. I dont beleive them as i drove one and at fully clocked it did.
What I cant is the right size for the spacer, I hear 1 1.5 and 2". and on ebay you find all of these plus some guys sell a 3" to make them work.. plus most of what I have read people only space out the front and not the rear.. to be "right" you should space both front and rear..
I put the same wheels Cody has on my '99 with 2" spacers, made them sit about 1/4-1/2" wider than the stock wheels.
I don't think you could go with 1.5" spacers, the factory lugs were about flush on the 2" spacer, if you go anything shorter the lugs would be sticking through the spacers.
1.34" is the difference in the backspacing between the 99-04 and 05-current trucks. 1.5" spacers will do the trick all day long. I personally like a bit of tire sticking out, or just flush with the body so 2" would be my choice.

1.5" is possible, but you have to trim the lug studs.
