E40D problem really wierd

I have posted this problem before but still have problem. My truck doesn't move forward in D .Well it moves forward if I raise RPM's to2000 R's but it barely moves
like the brakes are applied. If I shift to L or 2 it goes forward normally. The wiered
thing is the CEL ison when this happens. At times when the CEL is off it moves forward in D normally. I've tried starting in L,shift to2 and it goes okay .If I go L,2 and
D while truck is already going forward it's fine going from L to2 but as soon as Iput it in D it's as if someone apllied brakes as I press the gas. With the CEL off it goes forward normally. What senors would cause this to happen? Idon't see where the module is where I can run the self test with STO and STI .Anyone out there able to help me solve this problem. My whole family loves truck but I'm ready to drive it in the ocean. Thanks in advance.

Have you run a self test to get the error codes? Or get a local auto parts store to scan them. That will probably tell you what you need to know.
