Naw man, your starter is still good.
What you need to do is reverse the magnetic polarity of the gravametric field generator to an inverse pulse rating of not less than 2.367 quantum mili-second bursts. Keep in mind, you must not create a reaction with a deflection of .432 in the phased harmonic inducer or the iso-spatial stream manifold can overheat.
On second thought, just replace the starter. It'd probably be easier.
