Aren't the frames longer on crew cab longbeds? Or are you planning on doing the crewcab with a shortbed?

I have looked at this from the other direction going from a crew cab to a regular cap. I have done the measuring and it really won't work very well the frames are different in the area of the cabs. that is where the lenght is added for a crew cab. and the rear cab mounts are mounted where the frame starts to rise just before the bed starts. What Iam trying to say is the difference in frames from a reg cab to cc is the area that the cab sets on from the engine areas of the frame are the same and the bed areas of the frames are the same. but not the section that the cab's set on.
