They just arrived at my door. The box was jacked up (was delivered by a guy in a Uhaul van) but the shocks seem to be ok. Plan to install this weekend and will give an opinion later...
A guy in a uhaul? Whats uhaul getting in on the mail service now?
Has anyone ever installed longer lift supports for the hood? It would be nice to have a bit more lift to allow more light in while working in the diesel. Only problem is it might get hard to grab and close the hood.
I put mine on this morning in about 3mins... All I can say if WOW. That's nice!!! Now when I load up my kids bikes I don't duck and put myself in odd angles to work under the damn gate!

I can barely reach my hood as is(and i'm 6'4"). Don't think that would be a good idea for me to attempt that.

I'm only 5'9" with a 4" lift and I can barely reach the front of the hood fully open. Just walk to the side and pull down on it where you can reach.
The hinges keep the hood level and you can still keep it from slamming too hard. Works great!
