Tire Size
Just picked up a very low mile 2004 F250, with the 6.0 PSD. The truck looks great, but the tires and rims are gonna have to go...! Can anyone tell me the largest size rims & tires I can go to without lifting the truck?
The truck has a towing pkg and the FX4 option so it sit's up pretty high now. Any ideas would be great.
thanks

I have two sets of tires on stock wheels . 285s don't rub the 315 rub only on the right side on full lock ,it only touches the leaf springs not any body parts, my truck has a front leveling kit . My brothers SD same year same 315 with a after market wheels that have about 1.5'' more back spacing than the stock wheels and does'nt rub at all . OllllllO

I've run 315's on my 04 since buying it in Dec 03. Never had a problem, eventually installed a leveling kit and gained another 1/2" clearance on the front tires. Wheel offset is critical and I use 16 x 8's with 4.25" back spacing. You could get away with 4.5" back spacing but anymore and you could have clearance issues. I do have 315's on 16 x 10's on my Excursion with a 3" lift kit that sits at same height as my F250. Back spacing on these are 4.5".
