pistons

which piston is the same as the 400.351c or m.if i remember right its the c.

their not the same!

The 400 ford and 351m have same bore sizing but the piston pin location is different. The cleveland 351 has the same 4" but the piston pin is smaller in diameter and the cleveland have a taller piston which gives you a little more compression. Building a 400 ford with cleveland pistons and had to bush the rods ends to compensate for piston pin diameter. go to my photos in photobucket and have several photos of my build. 400 ford cobrajet heads and roller cam. Any questions drop a message. but I can say going with tim meyer pistons is the simplier route. I just cam into a deal on some pistons and made it happen. keepin old iron alive one ford at a time.

thanks.i just needed to know if they fit anything else.ended up with half a truckload of parts from a shop that cleaned out there old junk.

tim Meyer doesn't charge a arm and a leg for his parts.
Very good parts for the money. I have them in my 400.
