I have a '92 F150 SuperCab and want to raise the rear seat up for more comfort. Has anyone done it with homemade spacers rather than the $100+ kits. If so, did the latches still work and did it fold down flat like the factory set up? Thanks for the help.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Nov-01 AT 03:16 PM (EST)]I haven't done it with home made parts but I did buy one of those $100 kits and installed it right after I bought the truck. Best $100 I've spent on it. I now have great underseat storage capacity as well as the perfect place to mount audio equipment. And everything is still functional with the seat. Good luck on your evdeavor. whether it be home made or store bought, you'll be glad you did it!
I have one in my truck. It came in the truck when I bouth it. it is nice for the storage under the seat but mine will not fold down. and the leg room is nice but you loose all the head room. My wife is 5'4" and she has to kind of lean and can not sit up straight. it appears to be 4" but I again am not sure what it is.
Just a little info
