Question NO POWER

Coming home last night turned on street 3 blocks from home and it would not get out of its own way. Absolutely no response to throttle. Does this sound like TPS is shot. Truck is 97 in my sig. Have not checked anything yet we had a bad storm last night got trees down in yard got to get them first. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Jeep

how long was it running before the symptoms started? Have you started it back up (after it has sat)? Is there fuel in the bowl? Is the FPR screen clean?

If there is zero throttle response, could be the IVS (idle validation switch) sticking, or not disengaging fully. Mine does that every once in a while and I need to go and click the IVS a few times. IVS is the other sensor on the pedal assembly, has a small piece of metal from the pedal the engages the switch.

Ian, I had just finished a 40 mile trip to a friends house and it ran great. Have not had time this morning to do anything, still raining from storms last night and I have trees down in the yard, will be later today before I will have time to check it.
