4R100 w/ only forward
99 Powerstroke Super Duty shucked the transfer case a while back, took out front driveshaft, dented the pan, and cracked the bellhousing. I pulled trans, welded bellhousing, new pan, driveshaft, and transfer case. Started it up and have no reverse. Truck tries to creep forward in all gears (even neutral and reverse) and will not shift out of 2nd while driving. Even when you put it in park it acts like it wants to creep forward if it wasn't for the park pawl holding it. Should I pull it out and tear it down or could it be something simpler? Also, if I tear it down what could I expect to be busted up? Linkage is all right and the scanner shows the correct gear as shifter is showing.
