Colored Badge

Does anybody know of any colored ford badges the could replace the stock ones? The clear plastic (or whatever it is) is starting to bubble and I would like to replace it with a black one.

I know some people that have found decals on line that goes over the existing Ford emblem. Maybe try doing a search online and maybe something will come up.

One site I found in a hurry was wxsigns.com. They have black decals with out the FORD script.

Ford has been cracking down on companies copying the Ford script without paying copyright fees. So there aren't many companies doing Ford overlays anymore.You can still get the oval overlays with custom lettering but you'd be lucky if someone will print Ford,FX4,XLT,Lariat,Kings Ranch etc. on them. I got some black ones for my Bronco a while back, when you could still get them. Maybe you can find a local vinyl shop to make some??

Another thing that has become a PITA about the overlays is the raised lettering on the emblems. In 04-05 the emblems were flat(smooth) and it was easy to install overlays on them. From 06-11 the emblems have the raised letters which makes it a pain to install overlays on.It can be done, I've seen others do it.But I wasted a couple overlays trying to install them on my 06 with the raised letters.
