Outside temperature way off
Just purchased a 2000 F150 but the outside temperature reading in the overhead console is about 20 degrees to warm. Even after the truck sits all night it's reading the same error. Is there any way to calibrate it?

Your truck uses the same sensor as '95-96 Broncos, and my '96 service CD says that if the wires from the sensor to the thermometer are good, replace the sensor. It's usually between the grille & the core support low on the driver's side just above the bumper in front of the condenser core.
