I passed by this today, he's asking $900.00
7.3 4wd 4 speed with OD, air(not working) fancy interior needs to be cleaned but very intact.
F250, tires bad, he says it starts and runs very well without plugging in but needs lots of little things fixed.
248,000 miles.
I hope the attached photos work, I never did this before.
not bad. wonder what year it is. x cab windows say 92+ but the tranny is 87 and older, its a TTB and that sucks, but you can throw the d60 dually front hubs on it (joe has a set) it does need work but 900 isnt bad. bet 600 would buy it
Now that's the kind of deal I go for!!!!
Drive it home, pressure wash it with the aggressive nozzle, rip that dually bed off, rip the rear end out, install a standard SRW rear axle, build a wood flatbed, masking tape the windows, spray bomb it with about 4 cans of red spray paint and 4 cans of white spray paint, and then RUN IT HARD!
I make money with my truck (in the work season), and it was in very similar condition to this truck...a little bit of paint makes a huge difference in looks.
Oreo, it's a 5 speed...indicating 87 and newer...yeah I know, if you read it quick the text plays games with your eyes lol
Door sticker says made in 92 but owner claims its a 93 with some body parts switched from a F350, I don't know which.
I have no interest in it cause I have 2 nice rigs now.
Just thought someone else might need it for parts or fix it, the guys driving it now but he just bought an 05 so wants to get rid of this one.
Yeh he might take less.
it would stay dually if it came to my house. i like the extended cab and the dually looks great with the extended cab however if it were mine it would be a flatbed
I'd go regular cab with flatbed, I like that long look.
Kinda like this?
You will NOT find a single truck like mine. That's an 11' flatbed on a long wheelbase cab-and-chassis dually truck. It's a standard cab and chassis dually rear axle with single wheels bolted on. The track width is PERFECT to the front...which has standard F350 SRW brake rotor/hub assemblies.
I'm a big fan of SRW. I've had DRW, and with 14 leaf springs on each side...there wasn't a big difference between SRW and DRW in my experience. I'd never swap over to DRW, and would make all efforts possible to go over to SRW.
i like my single cab/steel flatbed. but i would love a 4 door long bed SRW or DRW i don't care to much either way id like the DRW for the added stability and weight distribution but wouldn't really complain either way if its a 4 door long bed lol

hes right. trucks always come out a year before their titled age. like you can buy a 2012 in a couple months. even though its a 2012 its still built in 2011
Door tag is manufacture date, not model year. Not sure about Fords, but the model year is often found in the VIN., And Dual, "Rattle Cans" really?!? Can't tell from the pics, so you must have at least taken your time! My fingers get tired. Costs a lil more initially, but a spray gun is a lot easier, but whatever gets you down the road yeah! Truck is well worth it though I will be looking for something like that when I head to Colorado, so for me a plow and a gun rack and she is done!
Not a bad looking truck for the price, not looking for any more really for myself though. If I had more spare cash I'd consider grabbing it as a parts truck, but really all I could use out of it is the engine, tranny, and D50 parts, and I really have enough already.
