when you say TRUE D80's ARE MUCH TOO LARGE TO FIT THE STANDARD 8 LUG PATTERN , what the heck did a true D80 come on ? all i have seen is the D80 in the Dodges with the 8x6.5" pattern and the D80 in the older Fords F450 with the 10x6.5" pattern ! i do believe that the Fords used the 10x6.5" , had a couple at work but never got any tape measure out !

The D80 on the F-Superdutys is 10x7.25". The hub is too large to have a 6.5" bolt circle...

This is where the glove box should be. The bottom-left of the opening was all cut away to make room for the steering cross-shaft...

Try this:

Rear Axle FORD 8-lug Hubs

(2) Rear Axle Ford 8 lug (6.5" BC) full-floater hubs
Part #F6UZ-1109-AA
They are new in the box, never used hubs that include new Timken bearing races already installed by the factory.
Will fit DANA 80 axles that came factory installed in E450 vans and perhaps some other applications.

$300 for both, or best offer

Oh yeah, not mine.....

Well, I haven't had a lot of time to work on it, but here's what it looks like now:

The dump hoist base is on it:

Here's the dump bed. I've got a lot of rust repair to do before it goes on...

Here's the old truck:

By the looks of your last post in the 2nd picture, I'd say your dual control truck was a line painter in it's past life by looking at that inside dual on the passenger side.

It was a trash truck. The white on the tire was from overspray when they did a cheap paint job. I assume that wheel was on the front, & they put it on the rear to make it look better...

%$&*@#>(!^)?!!!

Sorry, just had to vent...
Seems every time I touch it, I find more stuff I have to fix...
I think I need to make another beer run. (a 12-pack to me is a 12 piece truck repair kit in a handy carrying case...)

LOL- yeah, it's tough to build a treehouse when all you have is pine trees...
I put beams between 2 trees, with slotted holes so the trees could move when it's windy, and built an 8x12 platform on it. The A-frame roof has panels that open for windows. (great for water balloons...) I always meant to do a suspension bridge to the house, but never got around to it.

Oh, nothing too serious. I just hit my frustration limit today after I found that I gotta change out all the heater ductwork. None of the vacuum operated doors work, & most of the vacuum lines for them were cut out... I don't know why they butchered it up, but it's a mess. At least I figured this out before I put the dash back in.

Good lord I honestly think this is gonna be a truck that has almost everything repaired AND a 4x4 F-Superduty would look amazing.

Yeah, I keep telling myself "It'll be great when it's done, it'll be great when it's done..." but the list keeps getting longer instead of shorter...
