Reliability 2011 SD

I want to get a new 2011 SD King Ranch diesel, but with a new engine and tranny, I am a bit concerned. Any comments on how reliable the new trucks are?

Their very reliable. Only have had a cple of issues with shifting and all. But overall, if i had the cash, id buy one.

I am sure others with more mileage will chime in here. I have had mine for about 2 months now, have about 1800 miles on it and have not had a major issue. Had one very minor oil leak from the oil separator-replaced and fixed. Just got back from a 600 mile trip towing my 9000 pound travel trailer and it performed flawlessly. Huge amount of power and good fuel mileage-averaged
about 12 towing. I usually get between 16-17 around town. Mine is a Lariat, no moonroof or Nav. Have everything else and love it.

Bottom line-get it, you won't be sorry.
