C6 casing differences
Hopefully this will be OK in this forum. I've got a C6 bolted to a 460. I've got a tranny I pulled that was attached to a 360 that has the C6 bolt pattern and has the vacuum modulator in the same place as the 460 C6. I understand that the bellhousing sizes will be somethat different, but the overall casing on the 360 tranny is quite a bit smaller than that of the 460 C6. Am I correct in assuming that this is stilll a C6, and that the FE C6s were simply smaller than the 385 C6s?

The C6 's should be the same size except where the bellhousing bolts up to the diff motors. Mabey the other tranny you have is a c4 or a baby C6. Are the pans the same?
