oiling mod????
so over the weekend I pulled the engine out of my truck and while taking it apart I found these holes in the rear of the valley. any idea what they are for. to me they look like they were put there for a reason. also what do you think the numbers are over each cylinder?

Rear drain holes are normal to find. Sometimes there's round holes there, sometimes the more crude looking holes like that, sometimes none at all. Far as the painted numbers go it's for piston size and fitment on the assy line.
