build help

i had a 302 built for my truck it had plenty of power from 3500+6k. but it was just lacking the low end that i wanted. so i tried a 4.10 diff and 2400stall but still wasn't happy. so i am now going to build a 351w. Im not sure if i should stroke it or not if i do how much of a mileage difference there is and is the life of the motor shortened. also i was looking at this cam has anybody ever used it before COMP Cams: Xtreme Energy™, XE274H <BR> Very Strong Torque and Throttle Response or any other suggestions on cams. i plan on putting a set of gt40p or gt40 heads not sure witch is better. i do not want to spin the motor higher than 5500-6500 rpms. looking for a build that is really fun to drive but wont have a problem pulling things

How big is this truck and what size tires are on it?
Is this going to be a carbed or EFI motor?

a 2wd 89 f150 long bed with stock 235/75 15 on it and probably a wider set once i get the motor built. the 302 i built just did not burn the tires like i wanted. not quite sure on carb or efi yet i was hoping to get some views from both sides of the fence.wanting a motor that runs mid or high 13's and can handle the abuse of being driven very hard.
