went to start it this weekend and nothing no electricity....so put the bateries on charge and after a few hours the bateries where charged
went to turn the key all electrical worked but would not turn over
some say you need to reprogram something..... anybody no what this is?
Its a safety feature. They don't expect you to buy a 70k truck and have it sit. I mean I understand that, but its a big safety thing. If I had it in my 2007, my harley truck wouldn't have been stolen as easy as it was.
they wil screw me over call a towing bring truck there and get reprogram
what a pice of junk a 70k truck and it wont start
How frustrating! Why in the world would you have to reprogram the keys after the batteries go dead! Some engineer at ford needs to wake up! Several of my trucks sit all summer with the batteries disconnected (plow trucks), but none of them has the chipped keys. Note to self...
I guess in your situation, next year you'll want to put a maintainer on it for the winter. They're under $40 and the electricity they use is minimal.
