I'M BAAACK!!!!

Well...Kinda. Just bought an 86 XLT Bronco for my daughter. She apparently was in love with my old 85 and was upset that I got rid of it. So she found this 86 on Craigslist and pestered me until I went and checked it out. OK I admit.,..I miss my ol' girl. So it was nice to see this one. Same motor...interior etc. Just a year newer and black instead of white.

So the work begins.... I paid $1600 for it and it runs and drives great but needs alot of minor repairs so time for me to see if I can remember my Bronco "lingo". Been working on my F350 for so long.

So on to the list of things that I may need suggestions on.....

1 - Turn signals...Kind of work. Left locks in place as it should, the right turn doesn't. Have to hold it up. Also, sometimes they wont work. If they dont...bang on the dash or steering wheel and they start working.
I am thinking the switch itself....any other ideas?

2 - Relocation of spare tire - It is outside, I want it inside. Where can I find the mount for it that goes inside? I was thinking LMC Truck..any other ideas?

3 - Dash pieces - I need another center bezel that goes around the radio. Wood grain look. Also the clip that holds the cable to the temp lever, Factory steering wheel with cruise buttons and the little green lenses for the turn signal lights above the instrument cluster.

4 - Center console. She has the capatins chairs, but no center console or arm rests. Blue interior.

Thanks for any info guys!!

Blue interior is every where, for some reason most people don't like the blue and red. try fullsizebronco.com or fourdoorbronco.com lot of parts for sale pretty cheap, LMC, ebay, wildhorses, craigslist, jcwhitney, and here of course.

Ok...dug into the the truck some more today. Link arm just outside the tranny was bent a little. Straightened that and now the indicator works right when going into OD and D.
Need to replace the gear set for the rear window.
But...the passenger window...
I went in to figure out why it wouldn't go all the way down. Well there was a block of wood inside the bottom of the door. So I removed it and now if the window goes all the way down, it jams and won't go back up. I have to loosen the window motor and pull the window up then tighten the motor again and it works fine till it goes down too far again. So...... is there something missing? A stop bar or something?
Otherwise.... new heater controls and center dash bezel are on order. And new muffler going in tomorrow.

Thanks all!
