Which EcoBoost?

I am trying to choose between two EcoBoost Lariats. One was ordered with the off-road package which has the E-limited slip and skid plates, while the other one available has just the 3.73 optional limited slip, but also has the max towing package that I don't need. All other options are equal. I read posts where many prefer the optional limited slip over the E-limited slip, but it seems like a waste to order a towing package that I am not going to use. Of course the max towing package does include a larger radiator and oil cooler. Please help me make a decision.

I like the max tow, but you will get the big mirrors! If you don't like the big mirrors don't get the max tow.

I'd rather have max tow and not need it, than not have it in case you need it down the road. For the extra coolers alone it's a great package, not to mention it will be a plus when it's time to sell someday.

That in bold would seal the deal for me. Larger is usually better, and in this case, almost always better. Sure you may not need max tow right now, but better to have it and barely ever use it, than to not have it and need it later on.
The e-locker is nice I suppose, but a LS is going to be just fine and with 4wd the elocker will only be needed in some pretty severe terrain.
If I were spending your money...it'd be the max tow.

Does the first one have the regular tow package? If so it also has the larger radiator and oil cooler.
Max tow adds the big mirrors and a heavier bumper. Also max tow comes with the trailer brake controller.

To clarify, the offroad package comes with bigger tires and an electonic locker, not a limited slip axle. It is an open differential when not locked. I have this package but have only had my truck for a couple weeks so i cant provide much first-hand feedback.

I have to agree that the Max tow package is a more valuable option, IMHO.

Both trucks are the same color - titanium metallic white. I did not realize that the Lariat tow package has the larger radiator and oil cooler - thanks JOHNDEERFARMER.

I would vote for the one with the max tow package. I wish I had it on mine.
