16" 5 lug wheel

I was making a delivery today and outside the office where I delivered was a collection of wheels and tires for sale. I asked if there were any old Ford wheels in the batch and was told there were a couple over there. I walked over and there was a 15" innie wheel...or so I thought. Turns out it was a 16" innie 5 lug wheel. Now it's in my shop but I'm not sure why.

What did these come on? The bias ply tire mounted in it must be as old as the wheel. It doesn't look like it has ever hit the pavement.

...so I just wandered out to my shop with my treasure. All of a sudden I realize that I already had 4 of thse that I accidently bought and had powdercoated before I discovered that they were 16". Now I have a matching set of 5.

So my question remains. What did these come on?

66 Bronco also had them as an option, 5 on 5 1/2 lug pattern. I'd love to have them for a project I'm working on.

Holy Crap! Stockton Wheel went belly up.

Here is a 16" wheel from WV.

Stockton did not go belly up. there was a thread going about it a few weeks ago i think on the 48-60 side. they were saying the owner took his life and they have decided to close the doors.
