I just wanted to thank everyone who has assisted me in the past with parts or advice on the build of my '54. I have a daughter in need of her first ride and have sold my truck.
It was placed on Ebay and took apx. 8 hrs. to sell. It is currently on a new journey from South Carolina, USA to it's new home in Sweden.
I'm sure there will be another project down the road but until then I say THANKS to all.
Ed
Somebody in Sweden is going to soon be cruisin with a big smile on their face...that is a fine truck and is probably a rarity over there. I am sure that your daughter appreciates your sacrifice...
Very nice truck. That guy in Sweden is going to be very happy when that beauty arrives. Sorry to see it leave you though...hopefully you can get another project before too long.
My 12 year old son has already suggested that he can drive my truck, even though it is currently stripped down to the frame. He figures I can have it ready by the time he turns 16....I'm not sure he will be able to pry me out of the seat when I get it completed.
Homade will also have a new owner but I hope it will not be anytime soon as I have promised Homade to my grandaughter Courtney, she is in love with it and drives it every chance she can and says that she can't wait that long, I hope I live forever just to make her have to wait, I love to torment her, Garry Atleast she loves old Ford trucks.
