It's In! Picking the new rig up tomorrow The old 97 was bitching today...I guess she's a little jealous...changed her MAP sensor today due to nagging CEL. Maybe she's trying to tell me something

Very cool. When I do this in the fall my 6.0 will be....hopefully cooperative...
Well worth the wait! Can't believe the power...so smooth! Its hard getting used to the automatic....no more shifting. The only thing I don't like is the reverse alarm...yikes! Gotta figure out how to post some pics
When you say "backup alarm" you talking about the backup sensors or the "I'm driving a garbage truck and now am backing up" alarm? If it is the latter, you can unplug it. If it is the reverse sensors, it is a menu item that can be turned off.
Great looking truck. I always loved the look of black vehicles. Only owned one and found it challenging to keep it clean.
I don't know if yours was on steroids like mine, but it was the loudest one I heard even on garbage trucks. Got mine to use when I snow plow (not doing that until this shifting Issue is resolved). I will eventually put a switch on it.
