Steering Column Upgrade?
I have a 1971 F 100 Ranger XLT 4X4. with a 390 and 4 speed manual. Is it possible to put a steering column out of an early 80s to 90s into my `71?
Just wondering how much of a pain it would be...thanks in advance!

Well, I didn`t want to have to do that. The problem with the stock column, is that the steering wheel is too close to me when driving. Maybe a smaller wheel will work. Or better yet, it`s a good reason to lose some weight! LOL
