I have an I6 with fuel injection, the air intake goes from the air box, into 2 smaller tubes, into the throttle bodies. Is there a way of putting an open element filter on this setup without buying expensive aftermarket stuff?
if it helps i took a normal k&n and then went to the piece where the airbox goes to the grille and curves cut the curve off and put a tube grille on there i saw immediate boost in throttle response and it gave it a little more go
