I have a 62 falcon 4door I am working on. It needs carb gaskets. I tried to put the 170 carb gasket on it, but it was a little too small. Does the 200-250 have a larger intake port?
How big is the bolt pattern on the intake? (where the gasket seats)
(The drivetrain has been replaced, so I have no idea what is in it now)
I can't find this info anywhere online, any help would be great!
thanks!
I'm not trying to be an a**hole, but I am sitting here scratching my head thinking, "He has the manifold and the carb right there in front of him and he's asking US what the bolt spacing is."
Um.....measuring tape?
But in answer to your question, yes, there were different carb flanges used, including at least two different ones on the 300 alone. Measure your manifold and carb, then go down to the parts store and have them pull a gasket for a 250 and see if it matches your measurements.
