I got 97 f350 with stage 2s and a d66 a modded 17 degree hpop and I'm wondering how much electric fuel will help?? I use this truck as a toy I mud race it and it's got 15" suspension lift a 2" body lift and rides on 42" tires! I'm wanting more power threw my whole rpm range
unless your mech pump is weak, dont look for a fuel system to do much for power. i have to same engine set up minus the turbo and i did dual superduty pumps. 70lbs set and it barley drops a single pound on WOT. it didnt do much for power at all. the power rolls smooth and you get a better idol out of the engine and easier starts. the smoke seems to be more dense. also i think lowerend is more torquey but that just might be me being that happy how the install came out
electric fuel set-up will give you smoother fuel flow (no pulse spikes) and may help quiet down the injectors at idle. and clean out the valley of the pum and filter bowl
pm me if you need help. I can e-mail you my set-up form some reason I can not post photos here?
You have to be at a certain number of posts to put up pictures, no idea what it is but you may not have met it yet. If you want any pictures it ideas you can pm me aswell
I'm just trying to get the most bang for the money on this truck it's not a daily driver I just want power and to be able to beat a 454 mild mod chevy in mud racing! I'm the only diesel in the local mud races

Thats a pretty good challenge!!! You'll have the power but I'm not sure you'll get it fast enough to beat that big block?
My mechanical pump was on it's way out so I made it big difference. The truck definitely idles better and there seems to be more torque down low.
We saw 10 hp increase on the dyno with the only change being E-fuel system, and that was with Stage-1's. I'd imagine Stage-2 would benefit more.
If you're looking to build a system yourself, go with a Bosch 044 pump. $200 or so on eBay, they are noticably larger than a stock SD pump, and flow more than the cheap Walbro that are hit and miss quality.
bosch 044 needs 1/2 lines and pick ups( pre bosch teck I talked to)
I am using a wilbro 392 & 3/8 lines from the per filter foreward, for my 238/80's for stage 1, 2 injectors a sd pump will work fine, thats what I used for the 150's I had (before the 238's)
I have a spaire new sd pump if you need one f 150.00+shipping
if you need more info m me I can sd ua gd write p with photos.
